About Us
Stimela Rail Construction was formed in 1996 in Emalahleni (Witbank), Mpumalanga. We are an approved specialised contractor on railway lines. Stimela Rail Construction is a preferred contractor and service provider to all light and heavy players in the engineering, mining and construction industry. Stimela Rail Construction has vast experience in different sectors in the engineering, surface and underground mining and construction railway industry. We also provide reliable Heavy Line Haulage solutions to support large-scale rail projects.
Our Company aims to be successful in our production, quality and safety management throughout our existence. For the past 27 years, the company has grown from an idea to something that matters.
The teams are brought up by different skills and experience in the railway line systems on mines, power stations, mills, and construction workshops. We have been the most preferred company from our clients to take on major projects in South Africa, such as Glencore, Thungela (Anglo Coal), Harmony Gold Mines, Sereti New Vaal, Mafube & Phola, Union Mine, Rustenburg Mine and Exxaro.
